Banana Bread

Something that I've been loving lately is Homemade Banana Bread razz I've never been the baking type, I'm really bad at making cakes from scratch! Give me ready to mix and I'm good to go surprised But I just love and enjoy the feeling of eating something that has some work put into it (especially when it is something sweet to eat). I've to give the credit to my mom for telling me about this amazing recipe! It is surprisingly the easiest recipe I've ever followed.

There are million of banana bread recipes but I feel confident about this one coming out good no matter what cool  If I can do it, I think anyone can!

Here is what you will need:

 3-4 very ripe bananas, peeled
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 or 1.25 cups of all-purpose flour
1/4 tbs cardamom powder
Walnuts, Almonds or red cherries for garnish

What to do:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour.

Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes (check at 50 minutes) ,or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Some Recommendations:
Don't fill the loaf pan all the way (It needs space to rise, which I forgot redface
Let the bread cool completely before cutting it ( I couldn't wait to cut and had messed up shapes lol )
Try it warm with some vanilla ice-cream ( the best thing ever biggrin

what is your favorite homemade sweet ?
