Did I need such expensive brush? No! But do I adore them, absolutely 
I think it was a year ago when I really started looking into the world of makeup! I remember going into Nordstorm and just asking for the best blush brush they had! (I think I had just gotten my paycheck haha) The lady just took me to Trish Mcevoy counter and basically told me that they are makeup artists favorite!

On to the review, I've the 2B sheer blush brush and 'mistake proof' sheer application brush. The handles on these brush are small, but they fit in hands very nicely! The top half of the handle is made of brass ferrules which holds the bristles very tightly. I hate when makeup brushes shed, the worst thing ever 
On to the best part, the bristles are made of natural hair and Japanese nylon! Fancy

The blush brush is best whenever I apply Nars blush because it picks up the right amount of product and distributes like a dream. I really don't have to worry about applying it too much! The shape of the bristles is cut perfectly, it fits right on my cheek haha 
The stippling brush is as soft as the blush brush, and like the name says it applies the foundation like airbrush! I mostly apply liquid foundation with this, it applies the foundation evenly (I don't have to worry about applying too much).
Overall, I would recommend Trish brushes if you want to invest in good quality brushes! I've been using them for a year and they still look amazing. They wash very easily and have no change in the quality.
Sadly, I think they have discontinued the 2B blush brush but #48 and 37 are great replacement. I've already put #68 in my wish list
Have you tried McEvoy Brushes?
All I know about Trish McEvoy is that they make gorgeous makeup portfolios and are very expensive!! :-) Lovely review Gloria! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's going to last you for a very long time-it's a great investment piece. Even if the product itself isn't as good, when you apply it with a high-quality brush it'll do the job nicely. I really want this brush now but it's so sad they've discontinued it.. :( I'll take a look at your alternative picks. Thanks for the post dear. xx

omg, you've really made me want to watch these tv shows. To be honest, I never go through all the episodes but I guess I should try harder. I love Grey Anatomy and have watched about 3 episodes, but I didn't finish watching Gossip girls yet-what a shame, right? :D lol
