Marc Jacobs / Contouring

What is contouring? I think the 13 year old can answer better these days
I have seen youtubers going all out on contouring and calling it a "natural everyday face". I don't have the skills or time for drawing lines out and all the blending that goes with it.

I saw Marc Jacobs contour powder in Sephora and couldn't take my eyes off. This thing is GIGANTIC. It will last me for at least 5-6  years, so I'm set until 2020!

The packaging is so classy, the brand screams through every single detail. The huge mirror inside is a great.

Enough about the outside, the inside has two things: a dark contour shade and a light highlighting shade (not really a highlighter, its yellowish powder, maybe it's a highlighter, who knows).

The dark shade looked pretty scary when I first saw it but as soon as I tried it on my hand, the color was very subtle and blended like butter! There is no chalkiness to the powder and this shade is perfect for medium skin tones.

At first, I thought the highlighter/light shade  was crappy because it didn't really highlight or did anything noticeable. But soon I realized that the light shade is actually there to make the contouring prominent! I think.

After using the dark shade, the lighter shade can be used in the non contouring places and can subtly sharpen the contour.

I feel like I have said the word contouring too many times now. I think anybody who gets this won't be disappointed and won't have to buy another contouring powder for a very very long time. great.

Although it is a tad bit expensive, I would say it is worth the investment. I'm just trying to justify on why I bought this.
